Do you cover my area?
Starlet Cleaning covers all Central London areas, including Westminster, Victoria, Pimlico, Kensington, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Hampstead, St John's Wood, Battersea, Clapham, Wandsworth, Dulwich.
How do I arrange my cleaning service?
You can book your cleaning service through the booking form on our website, or by phoning, or emailing us. Before the first clean we ask you to provide us with a list of cleaning tasks required. If you prefer, you can complete a Client Instruction Form, which can be downloaded here
Do I need to provide my own cleaning equipment and materials?
Yes, for Regular Domestic Cleaning, Spring Cleaning, and After Party Cleaning we ask our customers to provide all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless otherwise agreed. For After Builders Cleaning and End of Tenancy Cleaning we can supply materials and equipment.
Is there a minimum booking?
All our domestic cleaning and ironing services require a minimum booking of 3 hours, except After Builders Cleaning, One Off Spring Cleaning, and End of Tenancy Cleaning, which require a minimum booking of 4 hours.
Do your services include professional outside window cleaning?
No. We are not insured to carry out professional outside window cleaning. However, we can clean your windows internally.
Can I have the same cleaner every time?
Yes, if you are happy with your cleaner, we will try and make sure you get the same cleaner every time.
Are your cleaners employed by Starlet Cleaning?
Yes, all our cleaners are emloyed directly by Starlet Cleaning. There are no agency or other hidden fees to pay. Every cleaner we employ must have two references, which we check, passport identification, proof of addresss, and permission to work in the UK.
How do I pay?
All outstanding balances and payments for cleaning services carried out are payable in cash to the cleaner on the day of the booking. For regular domestic cleaning, or office cleaning, the most convenient way is to set up a standing order with us for bank transfer. Our bank details are available on request.
Can my cleaner come when I am at work?
Yes. You don't have to be in on the day the cleaner comes. You can leave a set of keys with the cleaner. Most of our cleaners hold keys for clients' homes. Our rigorous vetting procedures, and the fact we are fully insured, means you can feel confident that your keys are held securely and responsibly.
What will happen if my cleaner is off sick or on holiday?
Starlet Cleaning will contact you to arrange temporary cover should your regular cleaner be unable to come to you for any reason.
What happens if I move house?
Starlet Cleaning will transfer your account to another address in the London area.
Do I need to pay extra if I want the cleaner to clean at the weekend?
No, our rates are the same at the weekends.
Is Starlet Cleaning insured?
Yes, we are insured for up to £2 million public liability insurance, and up to £10 million employers liability insurance, through Co-Operative Insurance Services. This protects your home against major accidental damage caused by a cleaner whilst on your property. All claims must be notified within 24 hours of the booking. We will provide cover for claims over £250. Confirmation of our insurance can be seen here

What is the difference between Regular Domestic Cleaning and Spring Cleaning?
A regular domestic clean can be defined as a clean of the areas of the home that you have daily contact with. For example, in the kitchen it's work surfaces, cooker top, washing dishes, and mopping the floors.
A spring clean is a much deeper clean. It means cleaning all of the corners of the house that you don't get to on a regular basis which means it takes considerably longer. For example, in the kitchen it would involve cleaning the oven, inside the fridge, inside the cupboards, internal windows etc.
